The Walking Dead: Like anyone had any doubt about this show being my absolute favorite. I don’t really have an explanation as to why I love it as much as I do, it just speaks to me on so many levels. Most people who haven’t seen it see this show as an unrealistic story about zombies but that definitely isn’t the case. This show isn’t about the zombies, it’s about the people and their relationships with the people around them. Yeah, it isn’t mirroring real life, but they do go through a lot the same relationship and family struggles we do.
Sons of Anarchy: If I had to choose a favorite show from the past it would certainly be Sons of Anarchy. Kurt Sutter, the creator, did an amazing job telling this story over a span of seven seasons. Each episode tied in so well with one another. He made us really fall in love with every character for different reasons. The ending came with a lot of different emotions but I think Kurt ended it perfectly, I would not have changed a thing. I am looking forward to his next project involving the Mayans.
The Flash: The above shows are very much intended for adult audiences which make it hard for me to watch them with my 6-year-old daughter around. When I began watching the Flash I knew instantly it would be a show her and I could watch together. My favorite part about this show is the humor, Cisco and HR really bring the best one-liners. I love everything about this show and I hope it continues for many seasons.
