I have a list a mile long of shows I still need to watch/get caught up on. For some reason, I always go back to these same 5 series, no matter how many times I’ve seen them. Like any good movie, these shows leave you emotionally invested and make you want to watch them over and over. Of course, If I feeling down or having a bad day, I’ll put on a random Fiends or That 70s Show episode, but as far as binging an entire season at a time, these shows are the ones I always end up going back to.

Sons of Anarchy I honestly can’t even begin to count the number of times I’ve seen this series in its entirety. Kurt Sutter is an amazing writer, each and every episode tied so well in with one another. When the show ended, I was left extremely satisfied with how everything turned out. This show isn’t just about a biker gang, it’s about family, so you will certainly find a way to relate to it.

Stranger-Things-1-1200x605

Stranger ThingsNetflix has certainly stepped up their game in the last few years when they decided to create and produce their own TV show series. Stranger Things has been a phenomenon throughout the world and for very good reasons. I have only watched this show twice since it has come out, but I’m sure I will rewatch it before the second season is released in October.

walking dead

The Walking DeadThis show certainly doesn’t need an explanation. Like Sons of Anarchy, I really can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen every episode. Every October, I try to rewatch the series to refresh my mind going into the new season. If you haven’t watched this show yet, you definitely need to give the first season a chance.

GothamFor me, Batman has always been my favorite superhero, so when I found out they were making a show about Bruce Wayne’s life before he became batman I was over the moon excited. Fox certainly didn’t disappoint with the premier series of the show, it follows the daily life of Gotham PD officer Jim Gordon, and how he deals with the anxiety and terrors of living in Gotham. If you are at all interested in the DC universe, you definitely need to check out this show. I promise it won’t disappoint you like Batman Vs. Superman did.

DaredevilLike Stranger Things, Daredevil is a Netflix produced series. It ties into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, like its sibling series, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage. Daredevil follows the life of Attorney Matthew Murdock, and how he became to be the crime-fighting man in red. In season two, he teams up with vigilante Frank Castle, also known as The Punisher, to take down a threat to New York. this show is a must for any Marvel fan.
